Tracy Keith Floyd

Tracy Keith Floyd passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 3rd 2016 in Big Bear California. His last day was spent surrounded by his wife and loved ones enjoying a beautiful and peaceful day of fishing at Big Bear Lake on the boat catching big rainbow trout.
            He was born in California on June 28th 1962, where he was raised on a farm and spent a lot of time as a child pig farming which is where he learned the true meaning of hard work.
             Once he turned 18 he moved to South Lake Tahoe where he started his career in engineering and met his first wife Tammy and started a family. His son Travis was born on November 11th 1987.
             In 1996 Tracy moved back to California with his soon to be second wife Christine and two step daughters Summer and Catrina. In year 2000 they relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada for his career. In 2007 he opened his own company Las Vegas Building Commissioning with his family and moved to Boulder City, Nevada where he eventually retired after 30 years of being one of the most highly respected engineers in his field.
                More than anything Tracy loved spending time with his family, close friends and dog Koko. His favorite hobbies and past time was going boating, fishing, camping, gardening, golfing and watching football and Nascar.
                 He was an amazing husband, loving man, a generous friend and a mentor to many. He had a huge personality and was a comedian at heart. He enjoyed life to the fullest and will be truely missed by many!
                   He is survived by his wife Christine his son Travis, two step daughters Summer and Catrina, two grandsons Deston and Arion, his mother Patsy, three sisters Stephanie, Colleen, Nancy and brother Don, numerous nieces and nephews and 5 great nephews.
