Pedro Luis Llanes

 Pete was born in Cuba and moved to the US as a young boy. He attended school and eventually graduated from Harbor College. He was drafted in the first round to play professional baseball in the minor leagues. After baseball he was hired onto the Los Angeles Police Department where he served honorably for 26 years. He was a loving husband to Heidi and a great father to Pete Jr, Ashley, Gabriel and a grandfather to Lila Rose. He went above and beyond with his kids and career! Pete will be greatly missed, but never forgotten! In loving memory of Pete - God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered, “ come to me”. With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly , we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest .
