Nick was born in Santa Rosa, CA on September 6, 1948, to James Elmer and Edna Berenise Miller, when he was about 20 years old he joined the US Army and serve during the Vietnam conflict, Nick earned the following medals and decorations for his service; National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Combat Infantry Badge and Purple Heart, he was so proud of his service to his Country.
Nick married Lu Rae Lucy with whom he spend the next 47 years of his life, they loved each other to the point that they were inseparable, together they have three children, daughter Nikki, and sons Richard and Matthew.
Nick will be missed by all his family and friends .
