John Christopher Davis, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and marine, passed
away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 57. Born in Orlando, FL, on October 18,
1967, John was raised by his loving parents Pamela Anderson and Charles Davis in
Ocala, FL where he attended Vanguard High School.
Answering the call to serve his country, John enlisted in the United States Marine
Corps, dedicating 22 years of his life to military service. As an Explosive Ordnance
Technician (EOD), he courageously served in Operation Desert Storm and Operation
Iraqi Freedom; Demonstrating unwavering bravery and commitment to his fellow
Marines and his nation.
In 1992, John married the love of his life, Makiko. Together, they built a life filled with
love, resilience and adventure. Their marriage was blessed with two sons: Christopher
and Austin, who were the pride and joy of John’s life. Later, he embraced the role of
grandfather to Keikilani and Keanu cherishing every moment spent with them.
John will be remembered for his steadfast dedication to his family, his deep sense of
duty, and his unshakeable integrity. His legacy of strength, sacrifice, and love will live on
in the hearts of those who knew him.
As per John’s wishes, there will be no memorial service.
