“For it is by Grace you have been saved, through Faith...and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” Ephesians 2:7-8
Jennifer was born in Pocatello, Idaho on October 15, 1980 during the biggest snow storm there had been in years.
She grew up spending time in, Idaho, Oregon, North Carolina, Florida and California.
Her kind heart and beautiful smile; her creative and infectious enthusiasm that would light up every room she walked into, tragically ended on September 18, 2020. We are forever heart broken and miss her terribly.
Her early years in California formed lasting friendships and encompassed an adventurous youth filled with road trips and off beat adventures in her “hippie bus” and Chevy Nova.
These last 20 years were spent living a self-proclaimed gypsy life style...working at the Renaissance Faires, the Christmas Dickens Faire, the Pirate Festivals and camping & working at the Sweets Mill Music Festival.
She became a mother to Lynnaya Leigh Winters in 2003. Her most cherished accomplishment. She loved the journey of pregnancy and adored her beautiful child. She was a gracious & merciful Mom.
She loved all things in nature, especially the tall trees of Big Sur.
She had a caring and compassionate outlook, often to the point of sadness for others as if she felt the weight of the world. Often restless, she questioned everything in life... she was extremely talented, self taught with versatile capabilities... including the art of belly dancing, singing, playing guitar and recently cooking.
She was a beloved, loving daughter of Susan Golsarry and her Dad, Tony Golsarry.
Her family and friends will forever miss her bright shining light, her beauty and her keen sense of humor... all extinguished way to soon.
Most of her “Faire” family knew her as “Mercy Leigh”, her gypsy name. All of us felt graced to have her in our lives, wishing it would have been much longer. She lived life her way in a world that often didn't fit her.
It is said “Life is not measured by the breaths we take... but by the moments that take our breath away”
Jennifer “Mercy” Leigh you certainly took our breath away.
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace” Numbers 6:24-26
Jennifer is survived by her Mom, Susan Golsarry, her Dad, Tony Golsarry (Rhea), a sister Kelli Ribera (Husband) Robert Ribera and four nephews, Zachary, Jonathan, Alex and Ryan Ribera. Also her precious child Lynnaya (“Arsen”) Leigh Winters and her many friends who where her “Faire Family”... and her childhood friends Rhiannon, Chris, Cazzie and many more.
