On Monday, December 7, 2020, Diane Lucille Seguine, loving wife, mother, and
grandmother, passed away at the age of 77, at home in Huntington Beach, CA.
Diane was born in 1943 in Los Angeles, California to Ezekiel Regalado and Jamille
Nader Regalado. Diane received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California,
Los Angeles in 1975, and a Masters’ degree from University of La Verne in the early
eighties. She was a Home Economics teacher, teaching cooking and sewing in LA
Unified School District for 30+ years. She taught high schoolers how to cook, how to
sew, and how to become responsible adults.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Heffner and her daughters, Collette Seguine
Sustayta and Camille Seguine-Osburn, grandchildren, Catherine Osburn, Michelle
Sustayta, Anais Sustayta, and Alexander Osburn, sister Lorene Belisama and brother
Aaron Regalado.
Diane was a devoted Christian and loved Jesus with all of her heart. She instilled faith in
her children, grandchildren, students and everyone she met. She was a member of
many churches throughout her life, and led many people to God. She was a very giving
woman, teaching anyone who wanted to learn how to sew, cook, or crochet. Diane will
be greatly missed by so many who loved her.
Viewing will be held from 10am-12pm on December 19th at Big Bear Mortuary, 321 W
Big Bear Blvd Big Bear City, CA.
Graveside Service will be held at Big Bear Cemetery at 12:30pm 370 Maple Lane Big
Bear, CA.
