Darin Martin was born to Lee C. Martin and Rosetta Martin on October 10th, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois.
He attended school at Grape St, Markham, and Carson High School. He attended the University of Kansas where he played basketball. Darin was a victimless participant of gang violence in Watts, but because he was raised in the church – Holy Chapel MBC, Darin decided to change his life around, and preach to his family and friends about how to stay out of gangs. Proud to say, none of his sisters, brothers, neither nieces, nor nephews are in a gang.
Darin is survived by his mother Rosetta Martin, his father Lee C. Martin, his children Devon, Darin, Diamond. His grandchildren; Dominic, Dahnia, Desiray. Sisters and brothers; Linda Pickett, Larry Martin, Mary Martin, Michelle Smith, Matasha Williams, Brandon Martin, Terry Martin, Nakea Martin, and DaAnthony Martin. Brother in laws: Tony Smith Sr., Arthur Williams, and Johnny Pickett. Stepmom Tonya Candler.
