Betty Marie Heller

TO KNOW HER WAS TO LOVE HER AND BE LOVED BY HER 

Betty M Heller, of Big Bear Lake, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.  

Born Marie Elizabeth Randles in Los Angeles, CA, to the late Clementine Randles and Ernest Randles, on December 16, 1931. She married Paul Heller on December 11, 1948 who preceded her in death, and is survived by their 3 children Steve (Christine)Heller of Whittier, Diana (Michael) Bedwell of Big Bear City and Linda (Thomas) Galich of Huntington Beach.  Also surviving are 6 grand children and 13 great-grandchildren.

Betty was a longtime resident of Big Bear Lake, where she loved to sew and quilt with the Busy Bear Quilt Guild and the Bear Valley Quilt Guild.  Betty was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Betty and her husband Paul loved to travel to see the historical sites in all of the 50 States. Both had joined and volunteered for The Historical Society of Big Bear and the Big Bear CHP.

Family and friends were Betty’s passion and delight.  She raised her family very close knit and would frequently travel over the years to see her family far and wide. Betty leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.  She will be remembered for her hugs, her smile, and her selfless devotion to her loving husband and her family, Held in our hearts forever.
